New Partnership Roadmap between Ukraine and Ireland

President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine and Ireland have approved a new partnership roadmap for the next five years. He shared this information during a joint press briefing with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin in Dublin.
«We have laid out a partnership plan for our countries, Ukraine and Ireland, for at least the next five years. We hope that during this time Ukraine will become a member of the European Union, and we are grateful for your support on this journey», Zelensky stated.
He noted that discussions with the Irish Prime Minister covered the entire bilateral agenda. The President also reminded that Ireland consistently provides political support to Ukraine. Moreover, according to him, there is a humanitarian aid package available.
«We are extremely grateful for all of this», the President said.
Zelensky also expressed appreciation to Ireland for its assistance to Ukrainians during the war.
«I was raised to understand that I cannot criticize help — it can increase or decrease. We must be grateful. We should remember this. I deeply believe that you did this not only to help us but because you understand what we are going through. You understand this, I think, historically and in terms of values. Therefore, we are thankful for your choice. It is not about the size of help, but about the choice», he emphasized.
