Defense Collaboration Between Ukraine and Czech Republic

Ukraine's Deputy Minister of Defense, Serhiy Boyev, held a meeting with the director of the Czech Republic's Intergovernmental Defense Cooperation Agency, Aleš Vytečka, to discuss the supply of artillery shells. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense.
The parties focused on the implementation of the munitions initiative for Ukraine. Delegations discussed delivery timelines and the available quantities of munitions for priority categories.
"Our priority is to secure long-range munitions that provide Ukrainian soldiers with an advantage on the battlefield. The Czech Republic plays an extremely important role in this initiative, ensuring stable supplies of shells for the Defense Forces," emphasized Boyev.
He also thanked the Czech Republic for its consistent support in supplying artillery shells to Ukraine.
In turn, the Czech side provided details on the security assistance and the status of munitions contracting.
The Czech Republic has transferred the self-propelled artillery system 'DITA' and artillery munitions to Ukrainian border guards.
