New Opportunities for Freight Transport Between Ukraine and Norway

The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine and the Ministry of Transport of Norway have signed an agreement to extend the liberalization of freight transport until March 2027. This was announced in an official release from the Ministry.
The new agreement on "transport visa-free regime" will be in effect at least until March 31, 2027.
"The continuation of the visa-free regime for freight transport with Norway is another step towards integrating Ukraine into the European transport space," emphasized Oleksii Kuleba, the Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine and Minister of Infrastructure.
The rules for carrying out freight transport without special permits apply to trucks of Euro 5 standard and above for bilateral and transit transport. These conditions were also in place before.
To benefit from the liberalization conditions, the driver must have a certificate confirming the environmental class of their vehicle.
