New Training Center for Heavy Equipment Operators in Ukraine
A new training center is set to open in Ukraine, focusing on the preparation of heavy equipment operators, including excavators, cranes, and bulldozers, with the support of South Korea.
This information was reported by the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development.
The establishment of the center is made possible by a memorandum of cooperation signed in Seoul between the State Agency for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine and the Korean Association of Construction Equipment Manufacturers (KOCEMA).
The center will be equipped with state-of-the-art simulators and equipment from Korea, allowing Ukrainians to receive training at high standards and quickly develop skilled professionals for reconstruction efforts.
"This will enable us to train people on modern equipment and simulators to high standards, provide jobs for veterans, women, and youth, and accelerate the restoration of infrastructure in communities," said Oleksiy Kubel, Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine.
The memorandum also includes the participation of Korean manufacturers in restoration projects in Ukraine, including equipment supply, demonstration events, and consulting support.
It is worth noting that the State Agency for Restoration has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the leading asphalt producer in South Korea, SG.
