Klychko in Berlin: Germany Boosts Support for Ukraine
Vitali Klychko, the mayor of Kyiv, met in Berlin with Alexander Dobrindt, Germany's federal interior minister, emphasizing the need to strengthen resistance against Russian aggression. They also discussed providing Ukraine with drones for defense forces.
Klychko shared this news via his Telegram channel.
«My meeting with Alexander Dobrindt in Berlin was crucial. We discussed the critical importance of ending the war in Ukraine for the security of Europe. Putin's aggressive plans for Europe remain unchanged, and we must recognize that the war is ongoing.
European nations need to understand that there is no time for prolonged negotiations. Concrete actions must be taken against Russian expansion. A significant increase in military assistance to Ukraine is essential. The future of Europe, along with its security and stability, is being determined on the Ukrainian front», Klychko emphasized.
He also thanked Dobrindt for the decision made during their meeting: the German Ministry of the Interior will allocate 2 million euros to purchase drones for Ukraine's security forces. Additionally, Kyiv will soon receive cargo vehicles for city services.
Alexander Dobrindt reaffirmed that Germany will continue to support Ukraine.
