Andriivka: Under Ukrainian Armed Forces Control
The settlement of Andriivka in Sumy region remains under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Reports of its capture by Russian forces are false. This was reported by the Communications Center of the 'Kursk' military grouping on Facebook.
"Andriivka has been and continues to be fully under the control of the 'Kursk' military grouping. Therefore, there can be no talk of any occupation. We urge the public, media outlets, and opinion leaders to practice information hygiene, critically assess reports from unreliable sources, and avoid rumors. Trust only official information," the statement reads.
It is noted that the enemy is indeed trying to expand its occupation zone in the Sumy region, but is currently unsuccessful.
The 'Kursk' military grouping also requests not to spread unverified information, especially concerning sensitive matters related to military operations and frontline reports.
"Always remember that the enemy is trying to mislead you, instill fear, despair, and panic among Ukrainians," the Communications Center urged.
On the front, 275 combat encounters between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders were recorded on January 7.
