Successful Defense: 73 Drones Neutralized on December 26

As a result of the nighttime attack on December 25, Ukrainian forces managed to neutralize 73 out of 99 drones used by the Russians to attack Ukraine. According to the Armed Forces Air Command, there was a hit by a ballistic missile and 26 attack drones recorded.
On the night of December 26, the enemy launched an attack using a ballistic missile «Iskander-M» from temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as 99 strike drones, including «Shahed» and other types, coming from the directions of: Bryansk, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russia, and Hvardiyiske - temporarily occupied Crimea, with about 60 being «Shaheds».
The defense forces of Ukraine, including aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups, successfully repelled the attack.
As of 09:00, preliminary data indicates that the air defense has shot down or suppressed 73 enemy drones in the north, south, and east of the country.
There were also hits recorded from a ballistic missile and 26 attack drones at 16 locations.
In Odesa, the Russians targeted an infrastructure facility with a strike drone, causing a fire.
