On December 25, the units of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully launched an attack with Storm Shadow air-launched cruise missiles on a significant oil refinery located in the Rostov region, as reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
"Numerous explosions have been recorded. The target has been hit. Damage assessment is underway," the report states.
It was noted that this refinery is one of the major suppliers of fuel in southern Russia and directly supports the Russian armed forces. The facility supplies diesel fuel and aviation kerosene to the Russian military.
The total volume of the refinery's tanks exceeds 210,000 cubic meters.
"The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to take necessary measures to undermine the military-economic potential of the Russian invaders and to compel the Russian Federation to cease its armed aggression against Ukraine," emphasized the General Staff.
Additionally, on the night of December 25, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the infrastructure of the 'Temryuk' seaport in the Krasnodar region and a military airfield near the city of Maykop.
