New Incursion: How Ukrainian Air Defense Countered Drones

The Ukrainian air defense forces neutralized 131 out of 149 drones launched by Russian forces in the evening of December 7. This was reported by the Air Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
According to the information, from 6:00 PM on December 7, Russian troops launched 149 strike UAVs, including Shahed drones, from various directions: Bryansk, Oryol, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo (RF), temporarily occupied Donetsk, and Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea). Approximately 90 of them were Shahed-type drones.
The attack was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and UAVs, as well as mobile fire groups of Ukraine's defense forces.
As of 9:00 AM on Monday, December 8, the air defense managed to shoot down or suppress 131 drones in the north, south, and east of the country.
Hits from 16 strike UAVs were recorded at 11 locations, along with debris falling at four locations.
The attack continues, with several enemy drones still in the airspace.
On the night of December 8, Russian Shahed drones attacked the Okhtyrka community in Sumy region, resulting in at least seven people being injured.
