The air defense forces successfully neutralized 125 out of 162 drones used by Russian forces to attack Ukraine on the evening of November 23. The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this via Telegram.
From 7:00 PM on Sunday, November 23, the aggressors launched 162 strike UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera, and other types, from directions including Kursk, Bryansk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Gvardeyskoye (temporarily occupied Crimea). Over 80 of these were Shahed drones.
The air strike was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and drone systems, along with mobile fire groups of Ukraine's defense forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 AM on Monday, November 24, the air defense system shot down or suppressed 125 drones in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
Strikes were recorded from 37 strike UAVs at 15 locations, as well as debris from downed targets at one location.
The most damage was inflicted on civilian infrastructure and private households in the Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. There are casualties among the civilian population.
