Drone Assaults: Ukraine's Air Defense Strikes Back

Thanks to the efforts of air defense forces, 95 out of 115 drones launched by Russian troops towards Ukraine on November 20 have been neutralized. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
Starting at 18:00 on November 20, the enemy initiated a massive attack using 115 drones, including Shahed, "Gerbera," and other models launched from various directions: Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Hvardiyiske (occupied Crimea). Approximately 70 of these drones were of the Shahed type.
The attacks were repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's defense forces.
As of 09:00 on November 21, preliminary data shows that air defense shot down 95 drones in northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.
Hits by 19 attack drones were recorded at 12 locations, with debris falling at four of them.
Civil infrastructure and private households in Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Odesa regions suffered the most, with casualties among civilians.
Additionally, the enemy struck the city of Zaporizhzhia with guided aerial bombs, resulting in the deaths of five people and damage to multi-story buildings, a market, a supermarket, and vehicles.
"Russia continues to attack southern Ukraine with strike drones. Several groups of enemy UAVs have been detected in the airspace. Please adhere to safety protocols," urged the Air Forces.
