As of 4 PM on November 21, the total number of combat encounters on the frontline reached 130, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Similar to previous months, the most intense fighting is reported in the Pokrovsk direction in the Donetsk region.
“In the Pokrovsk direction since the beginning of the day, Russian occupiers have made 41 attempts to push our forces from their positions in the areas of the settlements of Shakhove, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Novoeconomichne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka, Dachne, Filiya, and towards the settlements of Nova Shakhove, Myrnohrad, Hryshyne, and Novopavlivka. Defense forces are holding back the onslaught and have already repelled 30 attacks,” the statement reads.
Fighting also continues in the Northern Slobozhansky, Kursky, Southern Slobozhansky, Kupiansk, Lyman, Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, Kostiantynivka, Oleksandrivka, Huliaipole, and Orikhiv directions.
