The air defense forces of Ukraine have neutralized 106 out of 136 drones used in an attack on the country on the evening of November 19. This information was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
Starting from 18:00 on November 19, the enemy launched 136 strike UAVs of the Shahed type, "Gerbera," and other models from directions including Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Bryansk, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), and Gvardeyskoye (temporarily occupied Crimea), with about 80 of them being Shahed-type drones.
The attack was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 08:30 on November 20, the air defense had shot down or suppressed 106 UAVs in the northern, southern, and eastern regions of Ukraine.
There were confirmed hits from 29 strike drones at 16 locations, with debris falling in three areas.
The attack is ongoing, and several enemy drones remain in the airspace.
