New Wave of Attacks on Ukraine: Details and Consequences

On the evening of November 16, Russia launched a new wave of attacks on Ukraine, deploying two "Iskander-M" ballistic missiles and 128 drones. The air defense forces successfully neutralized 91 of these drones, as reported by the Ukrainian Air Force on Telegram.
Starting at 8 PM, the invaders launched missiles from the Rostov region and conducted attacks from various directions, including Kursk, Bryansk, and occupied Crimea. About 80 of the drones used were Shahed.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces, including aviation and mobile fire support groups, actively countered the attack.
As of 9 AM on November 17, preliminary reports indicate that air defense systems shot down 91 drones across different regions of Ukraine.
There were recorded hits from 32 attack drones at 15 locations, as well as two ballistic missiles at two positions.
The attack remains ongoing, with enemy drones still present in the airspace.
