On November 9 and 10, Dnipro has declared mourning for the victims of the recent shelling that occurred overnight. This was announced by the mayor, Boris Filatov, on Telegram.
“We honor the memory of those who lost their lives. Residents from 72 apartments in the nine-story building on Heroes Avenue will be relocated. Approximately 54 apartments will need reconstruction. We will provide temporary housing for those affected,” he stated.
Filatov also mentioned that issues regarding heating and electricity supply for the remaining residents, as well as for the residential areas of Prydniprovsk and Sunny, are being resolved.
According to him, about 1,200 windows have been damaged across the city, along with roofs and inter-panel seams. A support headquarters has been established at the 130th Lyceum located at Heroes Ave, 38.
“Anyone whose property has been damaged, please contact the administration of the Soborny district. They will assist you with the necessary paperwork for the 'eRecovery' program,” the mayor added.
He expressed gratitude to all those who are helping on-site: rescuers, doctors, volunteers, military personnel, utility workers, and all those who are showing compassion.
