The air defense forces neutralized 34 drones used by the Russian army to attack Ukraine on November 8. Hostile strikes were recorded at 9 different locations. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on their Telegram channel.
On the night of November 9 (starting from 18:00 on November 8), the enemy launched 69 strike UAVs, including types Shahed and Gerbera, from various directions: Kursk, Milleryovo, Orel, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. About 50 of them were "shaheds".
The attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, drones, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, the air defense shot down 34 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other types in the north and east of the country.
32 strikes were recorded at 9 locations, along with debris falling at one site.
