The Ukrainian defense forces successfully neutralized 93 drones that were used by Russian troops in their attacks against the country. The Air Forces reported hits at ten different locations.
On the night of October 29 (starting from 7 PM on October 28), the enemy launched an attack with 126 strike UAVs, including Shahed and Gerber types, from directions such as Kursk, Primorsk-Akhtarsk, Donetsk, Chauda, and Hvardiske. Approximately 80 of these were Shahed drones.
The attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian defense forces.
As of 9 AM, preliminary reports indicated that 93 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerber, and other types were shot down or suppressed in the northern and eastern regions of the country.
32 strike UAV impacts were recorded across 10 locations.
The attack is ongoing, with several enemy UAVs still present in the airspace.
