On the night of October 23, Ukraine's air defense successfully intercepted 92 Russian drones out of 130 launched. There were 25 strikes recorded across 11 locations. This information was shared by the Ukrainian Air Force on Facebook.
"During the night of October 23 (from 7:00 PM on October 22), the enemy launched 130 strike UAVs of Shahed, Gerbera, and other types from directions including Kursk, Millerovo, Shatalovo, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – RF, and Chauda – temporarily occupied AR Crimea, with about 80 of them being Shahed type," the report states.
The attacks were countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian defense forces.
As of 08:30, air defense had shot down or suppressed 92 enemy UAVs of Shahed, Gerbera, and other types in the northern and eastern regions of the country.
There were 25 strikes confirmed across 11 locations, along with the debris from downed drones at those sites.
