Massive Attacks on Ukraine's Energy Infrastructure: Updates

During the night from October 21 to 22, Ukraine experienced a massive attack on its energy facilities. This was reported by DTEK and local energy companies.
Particularly, Kyiv was targeted by Russian strikes.
Additionally, the infrastructure of Poltava was damaged, with strikes affecting the oil and gas enterprises in the Mirhorod district. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
In the Odesa region, Russian forces attacked Izmail, damaging energy and port infrastructure.
"Power supply in the city is gradually being restored, critical facilities are operating on generators. Resilience points have been set up in the city," said Oleg Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, at 08:12 AM on October 22.
According to DTEK, Russian forces targeted one of the company's facilities in Odesa region.
Reports of hits on energy infrastructure also came from the Cherkasy region, where the regional administration noted that there were "consequences for critical infrastructure".
In the Sumy region, at least one hit on a civilian infrastructure object was reported.
In the Chernihiv region, the aggressor struck energy facilities in three communities – in the Koryukivka and Novhorod-Siverskyi districts.
"Our energy workers worked tirelessly for a whole day to restore electricity to homes," the regional administration stated.
In Kirovohrad region, missile and drone attacks left 27 populated localities without power.
In Kamianske, Dnipropetrovsk region, the enemy hit an infrastructure facility. Strikes on infrastructure were also reported in two communities of the region.
In Lozova, Kharkiv region, the railway infrastructure sustained damage.
