Starting from the evening of October 12, air defense forces successfully neutralized 69 out of 82 Russian drones. This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force on Telegram.
At 8 PM on Sunday, October 12, the enemy launched an attack using 82 strike UAVs of the Shahed type, "Gerbera", and other types of drones from the directions of Oryol, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. Approximately 50 of them were strike UAVs.
The air assault was defended by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian defense forces.
As of 9 AM on Monday, October 13, the air defense had downed 69 drones in the north, east, and south of Ukraine.
Hits were recorded from 13 strike UAVs at seven locations, as well as debris from downed targets at two locations.
The attack is ongoing, and several enemy drones remain in the airspace, warned the Air Force.
