The Ukrainian Defense Forces have regained control of the settlement of Mali Shcherbaki located in the Zaporizhia direction. This was reported by the 24th separate assault battalion "Aidar" on Telegram.
"Units of the 24th separate assault battalion 'Aidar' together with comrades from the 33rd separate assault regiment have raised the Ukrainian flag in the settlement of Mali Shcherbaki in the Zaporizhia direction. The settlement is now under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces," the statement reads.
"This success is the result of coordinated efforts, determination, and teamwork among the units. Every such step is another chapter in our ongoing struggle, which continues daily despite fatigue, risks, and losses," the soldiers emphasized.
It is worth noting that the Dobropil counteroffensive operation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces is ongoing. During the operation, Ukrainian defenders liberated 180.8 square kilometers of territory in the Donetsk region, and another 212.9 square kilometers have been cleared of saboteurs.
