Successful Neutralization of Enemy Drones in Ukraine

The Ukrainian air defense successfully neutralized 154 out of 183 drones used in the attack on Ukraine on October 7. This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force on Telegram. 
Starting at 6:30 PM on October 7, Russian forces launched 183 drones, including Shahed types and others, from various directions: Millerovo, Kursk, Bryansk, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), as well as from Hvardiyisk and Chavda (occupied Crimea). Approximately 100 of these were Shahed drones.
The attack was repelled using aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, EW units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 9:00 AM on October 8, air defense had downed 154 drones in the north, south, east, and center of Ukraine.
It was noted that 22 drones hit 11 different locations. The attack is ongoing, and several enemy drones remain in the airspace, the Air Force reported.
Additionally, Russian invaders attacked one of DTEK's thermal power plants, injuring two energy workers.
