Energy Infrastructure Under Attack: New Casualties Reported

Due to aggressive actions by Russian forces, a DTEK power plant sustained significant damage, resulting in injuries to two workers. This was reported by the company's press service.
According to initial information, the injured energy workers received the necessary medical assistance.
"The power plant's equipment has been severely damaged. We are currently working on restoration. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, our power plants have been shelled over 200 times", stated DTEK.
Additionally, it is important to mention that the government has decided to impose a moratorium on power disconnections in frontline communities. Russian forces have once again attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure. As of the morning of October 7, there are reports of power outages for consumers in Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk regions.
