Ukraine's Air Defense: Latest Drone Attack Updates
The defense forces of Ukraine have successfully neutralized 73 drones that attacked the country starting from the evening of October 3, with enemy drone strikes recorded in 21 locations.
This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
From 6 PM on Friday, October 3, the invaders launched a total of 109 drones, including Shahed and «Gerbera» types. The launches were carried out from Russian cities such as Bryansk, Oryol, Kursk, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Millerovo.
Additionally, the Russians deployed three Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles launched from Rostov and Voronezh regions.
The aerial attack was countered by aviation, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian defense forces.
As of 9 AM on Saturday, air defense has shot down/jammed 73 enemy drones of various types, including Shahed and «Gerbera».
In 21 locations, impacts from three missiles and 36 strike drones of the Russian Federation have been recorded, with debris from downed targets found in four other locations.
The military emphasizes that the enemy attack is ongoing. Several Russian UAVs have been detected in the airspace of the country. Citizens are urged to follow safety rules.
