Russian Attack on Railway Station in Shostka: Impact and Response

The Russian military has targeted a railway station in Shostka. This was reported by Oleg Grygorov, the head of the Sumy regional military administration, on Telegram.
"The enemy struck at civilian infrastructure – a passenger train on the Shostka-Kyiv route was hit. There are casualties," the message states.
Rescue teams, medical personnel, and emergency services are currently on site.
An operational headquarters has been established. Assistance is being provided to those in need, and a rescue operation is ongoing.
Grygorov mentioned that the extent of the damage and the number of casualties are being clarified.

President Volodymyr Zelensky shared the aftermath of the Russian attack on the railway station in Shostka. He posted a video from the scene on his Telegram channel.
"This brutal drone strike on the railway station in Shostka is a clear act of terror," he stated.
All necessary services have arrived at the site and have begun providing help to the injured. Information regarding the casualties is being confirmed.
The President indicated that dozens of people are already known to be injured, including railway workers and passengers.
"The Russians could not have been unaware that they were targeting civilians. This is terror that the world cannot ignore," emphasized Zelensky.
"Every day, Russia takes lives. Only strength can compel them to stop. We have heard decisive statements from Europe and America, and it is high time to turn them into reality. Together with all who do not consider murder and terror as normal. Words are not enough; strong actions are needed," the President stressed.
