International Community Condemns Missile Strike on Kryvyi Rih
The global community has once again voiced its condemnation of the Russian missile strike on residential neighborhoods in Kryvyi Rih.
This is reported by "European Truth" based on comments from politicians and diplomats on social media.
The Dutch Minister of Defense, Ruben Brinkman, expressed his condolences to the families of the victims, stating, "All of Europe is preparing for the weekend, but Ukrainians face entirely different challenges."
"This is another attack by Russia, and one can never get used to it. Therefore, we must expedite our support for Ukraine," he emphasized.
The Swiss embassy in Ukraine also expressed its condolences, stressing that "civilians should never become targets."
The chief diplomat of the European Union, Kaia Kallas, condemned the "another reckless shelling that struck a densely populated residential area."
"Russia continues to destroy Ukraine, showing no interest in peace," she added.
The Estonian Foreign Minister, Margus Tsahkna, stated that "Russia seeks war, not peace, and attacks on civilians, including children, are brutal evidence of this."
This strike also drew reactions from the foreign ministers of the Czech Republic and Lithuania, Jan Lipavsky and Kęstutis Budrys. Meanwhile, the U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, Bridget Brink, in her condemnation did not specify that the missile or strike was Russian.
Recall that on the evening of April 4, the Russian army struck a residential area of Kryvyi Rih with a ballistic missile: it is known that 18 people have died, including nine children, and over 60 have been injured.
Later that night, the Russian army attacked Kryvyi Rih again, causing a fire in the private sector, with reports of casualties and injuries emerging.
