Howard Buffett Visits Kherson: Engaging with Youth and Supporting Healthcare
Notable philanthropist Howard Buffett visited Kherson, where he toured an underground hospital and interacted with the young residents.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Military-Civil Administration, Yaroslav Shanko, on Facebook.
«Howard Buffett, a distinguished philanthropist and friend of Ukraine, visited Kherson. During his visit, he explored one of our underground hospitals, where surgeries are performed in safe conditions. Howard spoke with patients, supported our medical staff, and witnessed the challenging environment in which the healthcare system operates in this frontline city», - wrote Shanko.
He also mentioned that a special and warm part of the meeting was the interaction with children, organized by the charity organization «United by Love for Children». Howard visited children's clubs, presented gifts to the little ones, and participated in a New Year celebration for children.
Shanko thanked Howard Buffett for his support of Kherson.
American businessman and philanthropist Howard Buffett, regarded as one of Ukraine's largest private donors, assured that assistance to the Kherson region will continue.
