A charity screening of the Ukrainian film «Toloka» was held in the Darnițkyi district of Kyiv. The event was organized by the «Revival of the Strong» foundation with support from the local administration. This was reported by the head of the RDA, Oleksandr Kovtunov.
The film «Toloka» is based on the work of Taras Shevchenko, «At that Kateryna's house on the bridge…». The plot spans over 400 years of Ukrainian history and highlights 14 significant events for the Ukrainian people.
Before the screening began, guests enjoyed live music — a saxophonist created a cozy atmosphere. The evening was made special by the participation of director Mykhailo Illienko, who shared captivating stories about the film's production.
The event brought together veterans, their families, friends, and caring Kyiv residents. The organizers noted that such events not only provide an opportunity for communal leisure but also support those who have experienced the war.
