On the front lines, shoulder to shoulder with the military, Ukrainian police play a crucial role in defending our nation. They are part of the National Police's assault brigades, engaging in some of the hardest combat operations, conducting assaults, and maintaining defense. Among these heroes are tactical medics who, risking their lives, save their comrades under enemy fire, evacuate the wounded from under bombardment, and provide first aid in the most challenging conditions.
Recently, an evacuation vehicle transporting injured police unit members from battles near Toretsk was damaged by intense enemy shelling.
Under fierce fire, ‘Sokil’ managed to pull his comrades to the nearest shelter and called for backup. After waiting for an armored vehicle, the officer safely extracted his colleagues from the danger zone and delivered them to a stabilization point - currently, four evacuated individuals are receiving medical care in the hospital.
For his demonstrated bravery and heroism, the leadership of the Kyiv police nominated ‘Sokil’ for a state award. Amidst chaos and bombardments, combat medics continue their vital work, remaining an unwavering support for the soldiers.
