Restoration of State Registries Following Cyberattack
After a recent cyberattack that halted the operations of state registries, the service "eRecovery" has been fully restored. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Regional Development.
"Owners of destroyed or damaged properties can submit an application for compensation through the portal or the "Diia" app, as well as at the Administrative Services Centers", the statement reads.
Additionally, owners of housing certificates with reserved funds will have their reservation period extended by 30 days - until February 20, 2025.
"This will allow for transactions related to the purchase of new housing to replace the destroyed ones in a more relaxed manner", the ministry explained.

On December 19, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration - Minister of Justice of Ukraine Olha Stefanishyna announced that the Russian Federation had launched a cyberattack on state registries under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Justice, resulting in a temporary halt of their operations.
On December 30, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine restored the operations of three key notarial registries after the cyberattack.
On January 4, the state registries system of the Ministry of Justice reactivated the Civil Registry Service: the ability to register marriages, births, and other civil status acts has been restored.
On January 8, the Ministry of Justice successfully restored its website after the cyberattack.
From January 20, the operations of the unified and state registries of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine were restored following the large-scale cyberattack.
