The National Police of Ukraine is documenting a surge in bomb threat notifications, as reported by their press service.
On January 30, starting from 09:30, various governmental bodies, educational institutions, and businesses began receiving a high volume of bomb threat emails.
As of 12:10, over 2000 reports of bomb threats have been received in multiple regions, including Vinnytsia, Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Lviv, Kyiv city, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, Sumy, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Chernivtsi, and Chernihiv regions.
According to the NPU, approximately 30% of these reports have been investigated and found to be false.
Checks on other locations are ongoing.
On January 30, threats were also reported regarding several key facilities in the capital, including government offices and educational institutions.
