New Initiative to Support Communication in Ukraine

The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine is launching a new initiative called "Energy Supply System for Communication", aimed at supporting mobile connectivity during power outages. Businesses and proactive citizens are invited to use their generators to power the operators' base stations.
If you have a generator with a capacity of at least 7.2 kW, you can connect it to the operators' stations and earn approximately between 110 to 140 UAH per hour. For instance, after 12 hours of powering a base station, an individual could earn around 1,320 UAH, while a legal entity could earn about 1,720 UAH.
To participate in the initiative, interested individuals can call the toll-free hotline at 0 800 33 63 28, available from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays, so that an operator can find the nearest station, explain the terms, calculate the estimated amount, and provide contact information.
