Charity Event: Pajama Day to Support Children
On November 14, 2025, the «Ronald McDonald House Foundation in Ukraine» invites everyone to participate in a charitable event called Pajama Day. On this day, you are encouraged to wear pajamas—whether at the office, at school, or at home—and make a donation.
Participants will have a chance to win prizes from sponsors, including a television, smartphone, gaming console, charging station, and many other gifts. This was announced by the project team of Pajama Day from the Foundation.
The funds raised will go towards building the first Ronald McDonald House in Ukraine, which will be opened at the country’s largest children’s hospital, «Okhmatdyt», in 2027. This house will serve as a sanctuary for families whose children are undergoing long-term treatment, featuring 50 comfortable rooms, a kitchen, play areas, and everything needed for families to feel at home, even in a hospital.
How to participate in Pajama Day:
- Spend the day in pajamas on November 14;
- Share a photo in pajamas with the hashtag #PajamaDay.
How to enter the raffle:
- Make any charitable contribution towards the construction of the Ronald McDonald House from November 3 to November 16, specifying your Instagram nickname, name, surname, and phone number in the comment.
«Pajama Day is a reminder that care and presence of loved ones are vital for recovery. Every November, we wear pajamas to support children for whom pajamas are not just nightwear but daily hospital attire. Thanks to the kindness of all participants, we are starting the construction of the first Ronald McDonald House in Ukraine—a 3,500 square meter space of care where young patients can be close to their parents. Our goal is to ensure no child faces illness alone,» said Halyna Solovey, the director of the Foundation.
This national Pajama Day is being held for the fifth time in Ukraine. Previously, funds raised from the event helped equip Family Rooms in children’s hospitals in Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Sumy, Lviv, Rivne, and Kharkiv. Prizes for the raffle are provided by: COMFY, McDonald’s, INTERTOP Ukraine, GUNIA Project, and others.
