Ukrposhta Launches Commemorative Stamp for the 110th Brigade
Ukrposhta has introduced a new postal stamp honoring the 110th separate mechanized brigade named after General Mark Bezruchko. The official cancellation ceremony took place with the participation of unit members.
According to the General Director of Ukrposhta, Ihor Smilianskyi, the idea for the stamp originated about a year ago after a meeting with Hero of Ukraine, former brigade commander Mykola Chumak, MP Oleksandr Marykovskyi, and Serhiy Volkov.
“This initiative was brought to life thanks to the creative talent of artist Anastasia Bas and the photographs of Anton Sheveliov. The stamps depict the names of settlements where the 110th brigade defended our land,” Smilianskyi noted.
During the stamp cancellation, attendees also collected donations for the brigade, which Ukrposhta has supported since the onset of the full-scale invasion.
Ihor Smilianskyi mentioned that the company will continue to assist the military and honor their heroic deeds. Brigade soldiers presented Ukrposhta with their unit flag, which will now be preserved in the company museum.
“Thank you to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and let us honor our heroes,” emphasized the head of Ukrposhta.
