Financial Support for Veterans Engaging in Sports
Attention veterans, apply for state financial assistance for sports activities. Submit your application for the Veteran Sports program via the Diia app and receive 1,500 UAH in the second quarter of 2025.
Use these funds to visit gyms, swimming pools, or sports clubs, maintain your physical fitness, relieve stress, and make new friends. Sports are becoming more accessible, which means more veterans are engaging in it for their recovery.
How to apply for assistance?
- Open the Diia app → Services → Veteran Sports.
- Familiarize yourself with the program rules.
- Create a Diia Card and select it for fund allocation.
- Review your application and click Submit.
Applications are accepted until April 20. Funds will be credited to your Diia Card within six working days.
The program is available for combat veterans and individuals with disabilities due to war, who have a taxpayer identification code and verified status in the Unified State Register of War Veterans. When filling out the application, the status from the veterans' register is automatically retrieved, not the certificate from Diia.
If you do not use the entire amount of assistance, the remainder will be returned to the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, and in the next quarter, you will again receive 1,500 UAH. If you do not utilize the assistance at all during the quarter, you will need to submit a new application next time.
Veteran sports are more than just physical activity. It is an opportunity for veterans to regain strength, alleviate stress, and find support within the community.
This project is implemented by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
