Starting August 14, a reverse flow traffic system will be implemented in Kyiv in collaboration with the Patrol Police.
This change is necessary due to ongoing repairs on the bridge, which are causing significant traffic delays. The Department of Transport Infrastructure of the Kyiv City State Administration reported this.
The schedule for the reverse flow operation is as follows:
In the morning, 3 lanes will operate from the left bank to the right bank, with 1 lane going in the opposite direction;
From approximately 2:00 PM, 3 lanes will head towards the left bank, and 1 lane towards the right;
On weekends, there will be 2 lanes in each direction.
During the initial days of the new traffic regime, patrol police crews will monitor compliance.
The Department encourages drivers to pay close attention to road signs, adhere to traffic rules, and plan their routes considering the changes.
