Investment in Kyiv's Infrastructure for 2024-2026
In 2025, as part of the city development program for 2024-2026, Kyiv will allocate 14 billion UAH for infrastructure modernization. This decision was made by the city council members during a meeting.
According to the Department of Economics, 4 billion UAH will be directed towards capital investments, while 10 billion UAH will be used for major repairs.
The funds will be used next year to restore facilities damaged due to military actions and to update the housing stock, including capital repairs, modernization of elevators, accessibility measures, and energy efficiency improvements, along with the construction of protective shelters.
Work will also continue on the road network and transport infrastructure.
Capital expenditures will be directed towards the reconstruction of critical infrastructure facilities, whose uninterrupted operation is essential not only for the capital but also for the surrounding region.
The priority for the next year will remain the creation of safe conditions for students in educational institutions. The program includes the construction of shelters in educational facilities and dual-purpose structures.
Additionally, the city will continue to develop and update social support and rehabilitation centers, as well as modernize healthcare facilities.
