On December 10, 2025, the State University of Information and Communication Technologies celebrated the grand opening of a modern training center focused on intelligent security systems.
A journalist from the publication "Mezhy" attended the opening of the new educational space, which was created through collaboration with IQ Trading, one of Ukraine's leading suppliers of high-tech equipment.
Rector Volodymyr Shulha emphasized that the new laboratory will be a crucial step for students, providing them with access to the latest advancements in intelligent security technologies.
Guests were shown the laboratory equipped with cutting-edge technologies. University representatives explained that the collaboration with IQ Trading involved a complete renovation of the space, installation of new furniture, lighting, and computer equipment. The total investments reached nearly 1.5 million UAH.
The new laboratory showcased equipment from world-renowned brands such as Axis Communications, Suprema, and Hanwha Vision.
Vyacheslav Avramenko, Commercial Director of IQ Trading, highlighted the importance of the collaboration with the university and the Department of Mobile and Video Information Technologies. He noted that these relations are not just formal but involve joint projects that enhance the preparation of skilled professionals in the telecommunications field.
"We have new plans and projects that will ensure the further development of education and business. Let this laboratory be a place where students become professionals capable of solving any challenges in the field of telecommunications," said Avramenko.
Rector Volodymyr Shulha thanked the company for its support in preparing the new generation of IT specialists. "I believe that our training center will be a cradle for highly qualified professionals who can work with real equipment," he stated.
Avramenko also mentioned that IQ Trading has been operating in the Ukrainian market for over 20 years, supplying state-of-the-art equipment for security systems.
He emphasized that the Department of Mobile and Video Information Technologies at DUIKT is unique, as students get the chance to work with modern technologies, enhancing their competitiveness in the job market.
Additionally, the rector pointed out the growing importance of mobile and video information technologies in light of current demands from the defense sector for skilled technicians.
