Largest Ukrainian Flag Lowered Due to Weather Forecast

Today, October 30, the largest flag of Ukraine, located at the Memorial Complex "National Museum of the History of Ukraine in World War II," has been lowered due to forecasted worsening weather conditions. This was reported by the Kyiv Municipal Enterprise "Kyivzelenbud".
According to meteorologists, wind gusts of 15-20 m/s are expected (yellow level of danger). To protect the fabric from damage, the flag will remain lowered until the end of the day on October 31.
It is worth noting that the flagpole, which holds the largest Ukrainian flag, is situated on the Pechersk Hills. Its height is nearly 90 meters, weight is 32 tons, and the dimensions of the fabric are 16 by 24 meters.
