A new art installation from the «Shukai» project, resembling a nearly worn-down pencil, pays tribute to writers, journalists, and literary figures.
«This pencil, so well-used, signifies active engagement and the importance of showcasing one's talent,» — commented the project curator, Yuliya Bevzenko.
The miniature sculpture has been placed on the building that has housed the publishing house «Smoloskyp» for the past twenty years.
Here, individuals who started a new chapter in Ukrainian literature gathered.
«We believe that touching the pencil will inspire everyone,» — the creators add.
The charming pencil is located at 21 Mezhyhirska Street, Kyiv.
