Upgrade of Kyiv's Digital Services
On October 6, the 'Main Information and Computing Center' of the Kyiv City State Administration awarded a contract to 'Smart Apps LLC' for the modernization of the information and communication system 'Kyiv Digital' worth 7.66 million UAH. This was reported by 'Our Money' referencing 'ProZorro'.
The 'Kyiv Digital' mobile service platform includes the 'Kyiv Digital' app and the 'Parking Inspector's ARM'.
This year, the 'Kyiv Digital' mobile app is set for improvements to enhance user experience and expand the functionality of the administrative panel.
Specifically, the upgrades will include:
- the creation of a 'Leisure' service to access information about cultural sites;
- notifications to parents about children's movements;
- displaying the number of parking spots in municipal areas designated for people with disabilities and the number of prepaid spots;
- automatic session termination for parking in case of system failures;
- notifications regarding changes in metro and suburban train operations;
- displaying schedules for surface transport services;
- modal window alerts for service outages.
This marks the third agreement this year for the modernization of the 'Kyiv Digital' system under the comprehensive city target program 'Digital Kyiv' for 2024-2027.
In June, the 'GIOC' contracted 'IT Group Ukraine LLC' for 22.39 million UAH, which included creating the services 'Waste Management', 'Kyiv City Fairs', and 'Who is My Deputy', among other enhancements.
In April, 'Smart Apps LLC' secured a contract worth 21.98 million UAH for implementing free public transport rights for vulnerable population categories and displaying GPS data for suburban trains.
The competitor to the winner was 'Seira Solutions LLC' led by Tetyana Ostrovska.
'Smart Apps LLC' in Kyiv is owned by Veniamin Matushevich, and managed by Olena Tymoshchuk.
