Transport Update in Kyiv
Due to a massive strike by Russian forces on Kyiv, some trolleybus and tram routes are temporarily suspended due to power outages. Changes are also affecting metro operations. This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration via Telegram.
To maintain connectivity between districts, buses have been introduced:
- №37ТР – from Myroslavska Street to "Lisova" metro station;
- №28Т – from Darnytsia Square to Myroslavska Street;
- №30ТР – from Myroslavska Street to "Pochaina" metro station;
- №8Т – from Darnytsia Square to "Pozniaky" metro station, duplicating tram route №8.
Additionally, the number of buses on routes №114 and №50ТР has been increased to improve connectivity between the left and right banks.
"Specialists from KP 'Kyivpastrans' and energy services are working in an enhanced mode to restore electricity and stabilize transport operations. Public transport movement is constantly adjusted according to the energy system situation in the city. We ask passengers to follow updates on the official resources of KP 'Kyivpastrans' and the Kyiv City State Administration," the statement reads.
Furthermore, due to damage to a building in the Pechersk district, the exit from Lesya Ukrainka Boulevard to Mykola Mikhnovskyi Boulevard towards "Lybidska" metro station has been closed. Relevant services and equipment are already on site.
Changes in metro operations are still in effect.
Currently, the "red" and "blue" metro lines are operating as usual. The "green" line is transporting passengers between "Syrets" and "Vydubychi" stations. Trains are not running between "Slavutych" and "Chervonyi Khutir" stations.
