Julia Svyrydenko's Visit to Denmark: New Opportunities for Cooperation
The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Julia Svyrydenko, has commenced an important working visit to Denmark.
She announced this on Telegram.
"Today, together with my team, I have started a working visit to Denmark. The agenda includes meetings with Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, Minister of Industry, Business and Finance Morten Bødskov, and representatives of leading Danish companies," Svyrydenko stated.
She emphasized that this is her first foreign visit in her new role to Copenhagen, as Denmark currently holds the Presidency of the EU Council. "We hope that the opening of the first negotiation clusters will be our joint achievement," she added.
Before the crucial negotiations with the European Union in September, it is essential to make the most efficient use of time for decision-making, the head of government stressed.
She expressed gratitude to Denmark for its consistent and principled support of Ukraine.
During the first official meeting, Minister Bødskov announced Denmark's intention to allocate at least 500 million Danish kroner to the Fund for Ukraine for reconstruction projects, Svyrydenko noted.
As the Prime Minister reminded, since the onset of the full-scale aggression, Denmark has stood by Ukraine and continues to provide assistance, totaling approximately 9 billion euros in military aid and 907 million euros in civilian contributions.
