The Obolon District Prosecutor's Office in Kyiv has sent an indictment to court against two men who promised to help a conscript delay his military medical commission for a fee. An indictment has also been sent to court regarding the intermediary who assisted them.
It was established that a 37-year-old man was detained by employees of the Obolon District Territorial Center for Recruitment. Understanding that he might be mobilized after passing the military medical commission, the man started seeking contacts through acquaintances to find help. He eventually found two 'assistants.'
They initially quoted their services at $600, but later their demands increased to $1000. For this money, they guaranteed him a summons with a new date for reporting in one to two months.
During several meetings, the conscript handed over a total of $1600 to the intermediary. He was also promised an extension of the military medical commission for an additional $1000.
