Authorities in the capital have apprehended another «blogger» who filmed provocative videos while posing as a police officer. During a review of social media, they discovered several clips featuring a man in police uniform «patrolling» the city and pretending to conduct document checks.
Officers from the Desnyansky Police Department quickly identified the impersonator as a 22-year-old local resident.
The police charged him with administrative violations under Article 184-3 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses – illegal use of police insignia. The penalty for this offense can be up to 34,000 hryvnias.
Kyiv police once again remind citizens of the prohibition against the use of police uniforms and insignia! There will definitely be consequences for this violation as per the current legislation.
