Criminal Investigation Launched Over Party on Day of Mourning

A well-known club in the capital hosted a party on a day of mourning, sparking outrage. Authorities discovered a video on social media and began an investigation after learning about the event that took place in the Holosiivskyi district, on a day when the nation mourned 31 victims, including five children.

The police quickly arrived at the scene, but the entrance was locked. When the staff refused to open the doors, law enforcement conducted a search and found over 30 people inside.

All attendees were taken to the local police department, where administrative protocols were filed against them for petty hooliganism and disobedience to lawful orders. Offenders may face fines or up to 15 days of administrative detention.

A criminal case has been opened regarding the incident for hooliganism. The investigation is ongoing.
