A new initiative is underway to promote the cultural heritage of the capital.
Currently, the Ancient Kyiv DIAZ is actively working to shape the perception of our cultural heritage.
This was reported by the Department of Cultural Heritage of the Kyiv City State Administration.
“You may have already noticed posters at bus stops providing information about unique historical landmarks and cultural treasures of Kyiv. Soon, they will also appear in the metro,” the announcement stated.
Among the 22 sites are churches, museums, and historical buildings in the city.
Additionally, a new website is being prepared for launch, which promises to be engaging and informative.
As a reminder, a project focused on Ukrainian manuscript books from the 11th to 16th centuries was presented at St. Sophia Cathedral. Its goal is to collect and systematize objective information about medieval Ukrainian manuscripts stored both in Ukraine and abroad.
