Given his extensive experience in Ukraine, this visit is significant.
On February 10, the Prime Minister of Moldova, Alexandru Muntian, arrived in the capital of Ukraine. According to the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia, the train arrived on schedule.
This marks Muntian's first official visit to Ukraine since taking office. He has spent over twenty years working in Ukraine as an investment banker and witnessed the onset of the war in Kyiv.
“The welcoming meeting was described as symbolic: 'Bine ați revenit! We are glad to see you again!',” noted Ukrzaliznytsia.
During the visit, talks are expected with the Ukrainian government regarding economic and investment cooperation, as well as discussions on supporting Ukraine during these challenging times.
Earlier, Kyiv was visited by the Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, David Lammy, whose visit coincided with the anniversary of the signing of the century-long partnership agreement between Ukraine and the UK.
