In Iran, widespread protests against the Ayatollah regime continue, with rebels taking control of several cities. The government may initiate measures to suppress these protests.

According to human rights defenders, the protests have spread to over 270 towns in 27 out of 31 provinces of Iran. At least 36 people have died in clashes between security forces and protesters, with over 1,200 individuals detained.
