The Foreign Ministers of Ukraine and France, Andrii Sybiha and Jean-Noël Barrot, engaged in a significant conversation about joint drone production, increasing sanctions against Russia, and the use of frozen Russian assets. This was announced by the head of Ukrainian diplomacy on social media.
«We had a fruitful meeting at the Warsaw Security Forum. I am grateful for France's unwavering support for Ukraine in defense, our path towards EU and NATO integration, and assistance within the G7 framework,» noted the minister.
The sides discussed further steps to promote peace through strength: intensifying pressure on Russia through sanctions, utilizing frozen assets, additional military support, and leadership in the Coalition of Willing to ensure security guarantees for Ukraine.
The ministers also focused on military collaboration, including the joint production of drones.
«Ukraine and France are uniting to strengthen European security,» emphasized Sybiha.
It is worth noting that Sybiha is currently visiting Warsaw, participating in the security forum.
